Overview of Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will play an integral part in the timely completion of accurate management and accounting information. This position offers the successful candidate a new challenge in assisting in the continued growth of our successful business.
Main Duties:
- Prepare, produce and finalise monthly management accounts as and when required.
- Management of the creditor’s ledger.
- Management of the month end close off.
- Preparation of the annual accounts for auditing and providing assistance to the company auditors in bringing the annual financial statements to completion.
- Provide accounting and taxation expertise to the Financial Controller and the Senior Leadership Team.
- Preparation and management of bank reconciliations, debtor’s reconciliations, creditor’s reconciliations and all items included on the balance sheet of monthly accounts.
- Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Registers.
- Maintenance of Leasing schedules.
- Providing weekly and monthly reports to the Financial Controller, Senior Leadership Team and relevant Government Agencies as and when required.
- All other duties which may be assigned from time to time in line with experience and competence.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills required
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or similar) with at least 5 years post qualified experience (preferably from within a manufacturing organisation).
- Attention to detail to ensure completeness and accuracy of information.
- Excellent MS Office skills with advanced skills in Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work with non-finance members of the team.
- High level of communication skills both written and verbal.

- Full Driving Licence as visits to other sites will be required on occasions.
