11 New Popular Colours

The last two years we have spent scrutinising our Popular Colours with a fine toothcomb….we had some time on our hands……

Our 2022 Popular Colours Collection has welcomed 11 new full spectrum colours, handpicked by our team of design experts. Softly muted neutrals and subdued pure colours to a brand new range of blush pinks have been selected to work beautifully with a plethora of stunning tones contained within the collection.

DUSTY BLUE

Blues are interior designers go-to when it comes to decorating, it pairs effortlessly with other colours and tones and creates depth and texture in any space.  Psychologically, blue represents calmness, serenity and peace and who wouldn’t want their home to be a sanctuary! Dusty Blue boasts a cool and greyish undertone which allows it to really anchor a room be it on walls and especially on your interior woodwork. We highly recommend Dusty Blue if you wish to be bold with a bit of drama and are hesitant about going too deep and dark in colour.

DEEP TEAL

Searching for your new colour obsession? Look no further than the deep blue-green hybrid Deep Teal. The tones in this colour are quite interesting as we have a trifecta of blue, green and yellow which gives it this dark turquoise hue. Deep Teal leans more towards green and as such is an energising colour and gives spaces a contemporary and luxurious ambience. We are big fans of using Deep Teal as a refreshing accent colour with pristine whites or paired back light neutrals.

GREY TEAL

Reminiscient of stormy seas, this muted, muddy version of teal has a certain warmth and softness that we don’t get with other blue-green mixes. It adds a whimsical and playful touch to both interior spaces and exterior surfaces. Grey Teal is particularly suited for creating a calming oasis in bedrooms and bathrooms and even in home offices.  To add dimension to a space, pair Grey Teal  with crisp and bright whites on ceilings and woodwork for a cool and refreshing traditional colour palette.

INISBOFIN

This botanical shade of green is conjures up images of luscious, dark and rich foliage which is why we aptly named it Inisbofin. Greenery in the home strengthens our connection to nature and is a timeless hue that transcends seasonal shifts in colour trends and styles. It evokes connotations of wellness, balance and restoration and is at once an immersive and refreshing shade to be surrounded by. Inisbofin is complemented by creamy neutrals and jewel tones or red and orange. We love this colour on cabinetry, panelling or as an all over colour in a bootroom or snug.

WATTLE GREEN

Move over grey, theres a new neutral in town! Wattle Green is our green meets grey with a whisper of blue to keep it on the cool spectrum. This soft grey green feels organic, grounding and subtle enough to use as your main wall colour without oversaturating your room. For a contemporary aesthetic, couple Wattle Green with black or steely greys or tie it in with warm neutrals and warm whites to let it be the hero in the room.

GREIGE GREEN

Greige Green is a lighter version of  Wattle Green but comes across less earthy whilst retaining a cool undertone of blue and grey. This special chameleon type quality that Greige Green possesses allows for gentle colour shifts during the day from blue grey to a dusty muted green.  It’s a colour that is calming for the senses and we see it in bathrooms, bedrooms , living rooms and on cabinetry.

DORCHESTER BLUSH

Pink is here to stay and we can not get enough of this brand new blush in the Popular Colours Collection! Dorchester Blush is described as a mauve pink with a hint of lilac and grey that gives it an overall contemporary appeal for those looking to introduce a blush that is not overpowering in a room. It is a calming and soothing colour that injects subtle warmth in interiors and is well placed in bathrooms and bedrooms. Combine Dorchester Blush with earthy tones for a spa-like retreat or with green for an edgy and modern aesthetic.

ASTER

Aster is a delicate muted pink with grey and brown undertones that make it almost seem like a neutral and in turn making it one of the most versatile blush pinks in the Popular Colours Collection. Nurseries, kids bedrooms, main bedrooms, living rooms and bathrooms enveloped in Aster are at once warm and welcoming. Consider deep browns and cool dark greys with Aster for a romantic and timeless ambience to wile away the hours in.

BERGEN SUNSET

Our dusty muted rose Bergen Sunset is the colour we never knew we needed….until now! It’s chic, sophisticated and cosy all at once thanks to a teeny tiny bit of yellow pigment it carries. Combine with dark neutrals such as black, grey or navy for a fashionable take on blush. If you are considering Bergen Sunset in the home we implore you to wrap it around your Kitchen island or cabinets to swoon over for days….

DESIGNER BLUSH

This muddy mauve tone in the range of blushes will add instant warmth and comfort to rooms of all size in the home. It’s a slightly more mature take on Bergen Sunset and we would advise to integrate soft creams in your fabrics and furnishings for a romantic feel. For spaces such as studies, libraries or powder rooms that are lucky enough to be cocooned in Designer Blush, dark and earthy greens with copper or brass elements are your go-to accessories!

CEDAR ROSE

Cedar Rose is our deep red with a highly prevalent brown undertone. Prepare to be a little indulgent with this sensuous and earthy reddish brown as it’s guaranteed to bring ALL the drama to your interior. It has immense depth and so it is best suited to bedrooms, living rooms and dining rooms. We see Cedar Rose with vibrant blues for an energetic and eclectic colour palette and contrasted against warm neutrals and fresh whites for quiet elegance.
