For a large warehousing and logistics facility, there are various requirements when it comes to coatings. Momentum Logistics Park represented an interesting challenge for Fleetwood Coatings, requiring a multi-layered approach from top to bottom – quite literally.
Our brief was to supply flooring, roofing, cladding and corrosion protection for all elements of the complex and, as always, we rose to the challenge. New warehousing and logistics facilities can accommodate requirements of anywhere between 10,000–400,000sq ft, incorporating metal sheeting, galvanized surfaces, and other substrates. The solutions we present need to be capable of coping with all variants.
Momentum Logistics Park was even more of a challenge, presenting a massive 850,000+ sq. ft of new Grade A sustainable warehousing and logistics facilities. We had to incorporate its greater clear internal heights and generous yard depths, circulation space and loading facilities, as well as taking into consideration that it is an EU Taxonomy-compliant building targeting LEED Gold certification.
