Warm grey ‘Hepburn’ from the Vogue Collection is described by our Brand Ambassador, Róisín Lafferty of Kingston Lafferty Design, as ‘a colour that has a lovely warm, clay like tone that works beautifully to create a sense of craftmanship and natural tonality.’
The Hepburn colour family consists of 6 similar shades  and tones that range from pale to dark. Hepburn is highly regarded as one of the most versatile shades you can have within the home and, with its soothing tone, will sit very comfortably in traditional and contemporary interiors.

 

 

Hallways

Hepburn is an ideal transitional colour for your hallway as it either serves as a contrast for bold colour choices in the corresponding rooms or  paves the way for creating a cohesive and subtle neutral interior style.  In a recent residential project as pictured above, Róisín has chosen Hepburn to complement lime timber flooring to exude warmth and a welcoming ambience to this home.

 

Dining rooms

Hepburn will add a touch of elegance and refinement to any room, especially the dining room! For a soothing and contemporary dining room experience a subtle wall colour like Hepburn will not overpower this room and will play well with both vibrant colours and complementing neutrals.

 

Living rooms

Creating a space in the home that is visually interesting and also relaxing needs a neutral base colour. Neutral wall colours give you the opportunity to start being creative with your artwork and pieces you have picked up along your travels.  Hepburn will sit excellently with copious amounts of colour, especially teals, ochres and burnt orange.
