Cutting Energy Use

We are committed to providing the best quality paint in the market and we feel it is vital that our impact on the environment is at the forefront of every decision we make. We continuously evaluate our distribution channels to reduce the number of vehicles on the roads each year.

We have decreased our electricity usage by 28% and decreased our gas usage by 39% on-site. Better production processes have been created to treat and reuse water on-site, showing a 23% drop in water usage. The water that leaves the site is rigorously tested by the EPA IPPC to ensure we never put our local aquatic life at risk.

Fleetwood is classified as C2 which is the lowest possible risk rating.

Carbon Offsetting Through Reforestation

In addition to striving to reduce the amount of water and environmental impact in our production facilities, we also work to give back to the environment by planting 6 acres of ash trees around our production plants, to encourage a sustainable ecosystem for wildlife and offset our carbon footprint. 2010 VOC Compliant Paint

Fleetwood Paints was the first company to be awarded with the European Union’s premiere environmental accreditation for paint. All of our paint is 2010 VOC compliant and in many cases exceeds these regulations. Our metal packaging is low carbon and a resource-efficient solution as it can be infinitely recycled. By applying fewer coats of paint over the years, your environmental impact is reduced and fewer VOCs impact the environment. Find out more about our Environmental Policies
