Overview of Role
An opportunity has arisen for a full-time Sales Associate to join our Cork (Douglas) Trade Depot. Reporting to the Depot Manager, the successful candidate will support sales, deliver a high standard of customer service, and contribute to the efficient day-to-day running of the depot. The role involves working closely with customers and colleagues to ensure a positive experience, while maintaining strong product knowledge and supporting overall depot performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent service to all Fleetwood customers, ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain strong customer relationships by listening to requirements and providing clear, helpful responses.
- Process orders accurately and liaise with couriers to arrange timely deliveries.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and calmly.
- Continuously grow and maintain product knowledge.
- Proactively engage with customers to drive sales and identify new opportunities.
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked and merchandising meets company standards.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe depot environment.
- Check incoming stock and store efficiently.
- Adhere to all health and safety requirements.
- Undertake deliveries using a company vehicle as required.
Working Hours
- 40 hours per week
- Full time, Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm
- Saturday morning work on a rotational basis (overtime)
Qualifications and Competencies
- Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred.
- Minimum Leaving Cert qualifications desirable.
- Knowledge of stocktaking procedures is an advantage.
- Strong communication, customer service, and listening skills.
- Energetic, motivated, and willing to learn.
- Friendly and approachable personality.
- Full Driving Licence required.
