A vacancy has now become available for a Full-Time Sales Associate to join our team at our Galway depot. Reporting to the Depot Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting sales, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring smooth depot operations. This position is 40 hours per week, with Saturday work required on a rota basis once full training has been completed. This is an excellent opportunity for someone enthusiastic about sales, customer service, and working as part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent service to all Fleetwood customers, ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain strong customer relationships by listening to requirements and providing clear, helpful responses.
- Process orders accurately and liaise with couriers to arrange timely deliveries.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and calmly.
- Continuously grow and maintain product knowledge.
- Proactively engage with customers to drive sales and identify new opportunities.
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked and merchandising meets company standards.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe depot environment.
- Check incoming stock and store efficiently.
- Adhere to all health and safety requirements.
- Undertake deliveries using a company vehicle as required.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred.
- Minimum Leaving Cert qualifications desirable.
- Knowledge of stocktaking procedures is an advantage.
- Strong communication, customer service, and listening skills.
- Energetic, motivated, and willing to learn.
- Friendly and approachable personality.
- Full Driving Licence required.
