Barley and Rye is a timeless and subtle neutral that strikes a harmonious balance between grey and white. Light, bright and welcoming, Barley and Rye is suitable for both heritage and modern frontages, and thanks to its soft tone, it’s a versatile choice for all kinds of surfaces. Unlike pure white, Barley and Rye has warm grey undertones that enhance its character and give it a soft, muted quality. Different light conditions will affect its mood, ranging from a cool grey on crisp winter days to a warmer, softer tone as the afternoon summer sun hits it. As a neutral colour, it appeals to both classic and contemporary settings.
Ensure all surfaces are repaired, clean and fully dry. Remove all loose or peeling paint. Fill cracks or surface defects with a suitable Fleetwood filler & sand smooth. Exterior surfaces should be treated with a fungicidal wash. For exceptional results make sure you are using a Fleetwood industry-leading primer. Stir before use and apply with a Fleetwood brush or roller, painting a wet edge and avoid overspreading. Avoid low temperatures during application & drying.
